Vermont House is a Christian Science residential care home. The home provides an environment where senior Christian Scientists may enjoy continuing usefulness to their communities and to the world through prayer.

It is a place where they may feel enriched and stimulated by various cultural activities and where they are supported in their desire to rely on God to meet all their needs, including health care. Vermont House staff endeavor to hold the attitude of thought expounded in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy which states, “Let us then shape our views of existence into loveliness, freshness and continuity rather than into age and blight.”
